Since most of our product line is for truck applications we build our mufflers tough. What this means is we use a little thicker stainless for the body as well as some very robust welding. This, paired with precise fabrication gives them a cleaner sound and ensures they will last a lifetime.

Weld or Clamp? The Choice Is Yours
We offer all of our mufflers with a slip fit that can be welded or clamped. If you decide on clamping, clamps will be included and the muffler will come with slots the exact width of the clamps.

How does a straight-through muffler design improve performance?
Straight-through mufflers from B2 Fabrication are engineered to minimize backpressure and optimize exhaust flow, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Their internal design ensures exhaust gases flow freely, avoiding the restrictive baffles commonly found in factory mufflers and many aftermarket chambered or turbo mufflers.

How do I choose the right muffler size for my car?
The first consideration is the exhaust tubing size. Currently B2 offers mufflers in 2.5" and 3"tubing diameters. Once you determine the size you just have to think about how it will physically fit underneath your vehicle. In general the larger the size (length x width) the deeper in tone ( I.E More Rumble) and less volume you will get. Smaller mufflers will tend to be louder and higher pitched.
What materials are used in B2 Fabrication mufflers?
B2 mufflers are constructed from high-quality 409 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. They will develop surface rust but have found coating them with VHT Coating keeps them looking fantastic for much longer.
Are B2 Fabrication's mufflers street-legal?
Yes, B2 Fab mufflers are designed to meet emissions standards, certain states visual inspections and are legal for street use. It's advisable to verify compliance with local noise regulations.
