Our Silverado exhaust systems are designed to fit 2014-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks with 4.3L V6, 5.3L V8, and 6.2L V8 engines. This includes all cab configurations (Regular Cab, Double Cab, Crew Cab) and bed lengths. Our systems are not compatible with Silverado HD (2500/3500) models - check out our Ram 1500 exhaust systems or F-150 exhaust systems for other truck options.

For over a decade B2 Fabrication has focused exclusively in truck exhaust systems, while Borla and Magnaflow make products for all vehicles. Our Silverado systems offer superior value and sound with the same stainless steel construction at a fraction of the cost. Plus, we provide three sound levels and offer both budget muffler swaps and complete cat-back systems.

Most customers do not report any drone, but there has been slight drone occasionally reported around 1500 RPM's with the retrofit muffler, none with the muffler delete, although with both there may be a slight increase in cabin noise at highway speeds, more so with the delete. Our Cat-back systems do not drone.

The retrofit muffler will have an aggressive sound at start up, then quiets down to a nice low rumble tone. Not loud at all, and most report no drone in cab at speeds.

The muffler delete will be louder than the muffler by about 25%, it will have a higher tone, it can crackle a bit but that tends to go away if you eliminate the flapper valve.

Our Silverado cat-back exhaust systems deliver the ultimate in sound and performance. Both the 14-inch and 18-inch resonator options are completely drone-free. The 18-inch resonator produces an OEM+ sound - like a factory performance exhaust system. The 14-inch resonator delivers a more aggressive tone similar to typical Magnaflow or MBRP exhaust systems, but without any drone.

A Silverado muffler swap replaces only your factory muffler for improved sound and saves money. A cat-back system replaces everything from the catalytic converter back, providing maximum performance gains, sound improvement, and includes new exhaust tips. Yes! Our Silverado exhaust systems are designed for DIY installation. Most customers complete installation in 1-2 hours using basic hand tools. We include detailed instructions, all necessary hardware, and our systems use band clamps for easy installation - no welding required.

It is important to install the clamps properly for a proper seal, a little high temp silicone inside of the joint will help the sealing process. We have designed the slots in the tubing to exactly match the width of the clamp. Line the clamp up with the slots and tighten extremely tight, preferably with an air powered impact wrench.

Yes, slightly. Upgrading to a B2 Fabrication exhaust system can improve your Silverado's performance due to better exhaust flow and engine efficiency, enhancing throttle response, and potentially increasing fuel efficiency by 1-2 mpg. Silverado muffler swaps typically add 6-12 horsepower, while our complete cat-back systems can add 15-20 horsepower depending on your engine.
