Will this muffler make my 2025 Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane sound like a V8?

No exhaust modification will make your Hurricane inline-six sound exactly like a V8. However, our dual-option muffler dramatically improves the factory exhaust note, giving it a deep, throaty rumble (18" moderate) or an aggressive bark (14" aggressive) that many owners prefer. Think BMW M3 or Supra sound rather than traditional V8 - it's different but equally impressive.

Do I need to worry about drone with this direct-fit muffler?

Our muffler is engineered to minimize drone at highway speeds. The 18" moderate option produces virtually no drone, while the 14" aggressive may have slight resonance around 2000 RPM during light throttle. Many customers actually prefer this slight rumble as it adds character without being annoying on long drives.

How difficult is the installation on a 2025 Ram 1500?

Installation takes approximately 45 minutes with basic hand tools. Simply unbolt the factory muffler at the clamps, cut the driver side tailpipe, slide it out, and bolt our direct-fit replacement in its place. No welding, or modifications required. The hardest part is usually removing the old muffler from the rubber hangers - a little WD-40 helps.

Will this void my Ram 1500 warranty?

No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to modify your vehicle. Since this is a direct bolt-on replacement that doesn't affect emissions equipment, it cannot void your factory warranty. We've been making these systems since 2008 with zero warranty issues reported.

Will I hear the turbo whistle or spool with this exhaust?

Yes! One benefit of opening up the exhaust on the Hurricane engine is increased turbo noise. You'll hear a subtle whistle on acceleration and a satisfying "whoosh" on deceleration. The 14" aggressive option provides the most pronounced turbo sounds.

What if I want it even louder - can I delete the resonators too?

Yes, we will also offer resonator delete pipes that can be combined with either muffler option. However, be aware that resonator deletion can introduce drone and may be too loud for some. We recommend starting with just the muffler and adding resonator deletes later if desired. Deleting resonators can actually eliminate drone too! More on that here.

What material is it made from?

409 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing — the same grade Ram uses on the OEM exhaust. 5" tips (if added) are 304 stainless for a lasting polished or Cerakote black finish.
